| One of the common plights of Greek students
in college or seminary is that their mastery of Greek quickly evaporates
over vacation breaks and the summer. This leads to mild forms of panic as
the studies resume and they are expected to pick up where they left off.
The ANALYTIKON project grew out of a desire to relieve that burden and provide
students with a tutorial approach to review. The development of a web-based
review module allows students to carry on review wherever they have access
to the web, without necessarily having to have texts, workbooks, and notebooks
available for the review. As this need and response were emerging, the Wabash
Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion was offering grants
for the development of new initiatives in teaching and learning the biblical
languages. The ANALYTIKON proposal was accepted and this website is the
result. |
